Borders recently gave me the amazing opportunity to design one of their windows!! This morning, my fiancé and I went down to Borders, Jam Factory to set it all up. The window includes a handmade poster that I designed and some new holiday freebies and DIY projects that will be appearing on Eat Drink Chic over the next couple of weeks leading up to Christmas.

The display will be up until Christmas so if you're in Melbourne, please come down to Borders at the Jam Factory in South Yarra and check it out!

This was my first time designing a window display and I had a lot of fun! Thank-you to Borders for the wonderful opportunity! And special thanks to my awesome fiancé for all his help throughout the whole project!

Gorgeous vintage cookie-cutter inspired holiday ornaments by Art School Girl. Printed on super thick printer-remnant coaster stock. Available at Little Paper Planes.

I popped into Chapel St Bazaar today and found this gorgeous vintage Christmas card from 1946!

I love the colour scheme and the adorable snowman in a tophat!

If you can find some good ones, vintage cards can be re-used to decorate your home or even gift packaging for the upcoming holidays.

Gotta love the cute, holiday-inspired goodies over at Maileg. (I'm particularly smitten with those snowmen). Wow, it's only a little over a month till Christmas!

I'm a huge fan of practically everything made by O-Check Design Graphics. In particular, I adore their inventive greeting card concept "Spring Bird".

It doubles as a gorgeous decoration. Perfect for christmas! Make sure to check out their other innovative christmas stationery while you're there.

This cutie-pie set of christmas themed stamps from Aspen & Brown would make great embellishments for cards, tags and giftwrap this Christmas.

These chocolate filled Peppermint Meringues would make an attractive and delectable addition to your Christmas table. Get the recipe from Martha.
Also check out her Heavenly Holiday Desserts. I find her Hazelnut Praline Torte to be particularly striking.

It was just before Christmas last year and my mother and I were in a car headed towards Armadale when we discovered a little shop packed to the brim with brightly coloured packages in a variety of beautiful and exotic patterns. We were intrigued! Continue for more details and pics.
