Wedding Style Guide magazine's latest issue (which features my wedding!) also includes a mint green version of my Ice-Cream Parlour cups as part of their 'retro green machine' spread (pg.78). The cup wrapper can be downloaded for free from their website!
(Print onto glossy photo paper for best results!)
Magpie Paperworks has such beautiful stationery for weddings in their super-cute shop! They also do custom designs.

I recently bought a set of wood coasters from Carina Sherlock in Armadale. It struck me that they would look beautiful transformed into wedding table number signs for a rustic style wedding.

I thought they would look especially good when combined with a set of nature-inspired numbers I had recently illustrated.

After some research I discovered that I could use Lazertran decal transfer paper to transfer the numbers onto the wood surface and successfully create the table number signs I had imagined!
Continue to download this set of illustrated numbers and to get instructions on how to transfer them onto wood coasters.

I'm incredibly thrilled to announce that our wedding is featured in the latest issue of Wedding Style Guide magazine!!
I retrieved my copy from the mail on Monday and eagerly flipped to the correct page. I was elated to find that the feature was nothing short of perfect! Superb layout, beautiful words... I couldn't ask for a better souvenir of our special day!

Wedding Style Guide consistently boasts the most beautiful spreads brimming with inspiring colour and innovative style ideas. I was so honoured to be a part of this spectacular Autumn issue amidst so many other gorgeous weddings!
For those interested in purchasing a print or digital copy of the magazine, go here.
You must check out the gorgeous Lookbook which will give you a taste of some of the great style ideas presented in the Autumn issue.

Once again I'd like to say thanks to all the talented vendors and family members who helped in the production of our special day. Special thanks to Jonathan Ong for his stunning photography. We never would have been featured in such a beautiful magazine without his incredible talent!

Almost an entire year has gone by since our wedding day. This is such a wonderful gift for our first anniversary!

The sweet folks at WSG were kind enough to include a photo of my Nan in the feature- it was a lovely touch. She passed away, unexpectedly, only a few short months after the event and I was so thankful that she was there to celebrate with us on the day.
Finally, for those who missed it, you can check out all the photos, story and styling of my wedding in my own account.
Thanks Wedding Style Guide! xo

Styling goddess, Donna Hay recently launched her new website. Some cute + irresistable things for parties and entertaining in her online store.

One of the important tasks for my wedding earlier this year was to find a brilliant Melbourne photographer, someone with a unique vision who possessed a passion and keen eye for detail. I stumbled across Jonathan Ong while browsing through Australian wedding blog Polka Dot Bride and was impressed with his quirky and artistic style.

Jonathan recently launched a new website and blog. "The website is meant to be an experience; a magical journey. I believe an experience cannot be rushed; it must have a relationship with time. The song playing in the background is written by a wonderfully talented friend of mine, Valerie. It's full of heart and I absolutely love what she has come up with. So close your eyes, open your heart, and follow me on a journey of faith, hope and love"

Jonathan was also kind enough to answer a couple of questions for Eat Drink Chic! Continue for my mini interview with Jonathan and to see more of his fabulous work.
I haven't really taken pencil to paper in awhile, preferring to rely on digital means to create most of my designs. This illustration, however, began with a session of doodling and evolved into a concept for a thank-you card.

I love the creative ways in which vintage handkerchiefs have been incorporated into weddings recently! Whether for Save the Dates, Invitations or simply for decoration- a collection of these hankies in various floral patterns creates such a beautiful, old-fashioned aesthetic.

Inspired by this concept, I designed some letter-writing paper sheets in the style of vintage hankies. Guests can pick them off a line to write little notes to the newlyweds and then hang them back up for display!

In the same vein as this previous DIY where I also explored the concept of 'Love Notes', these "Hanky" Love Letters are a unique guestbook alternative for your wedding.

Love, Loans and Linen looks like such a lovely little shop. They also appear to loan out their stylish goods for events! Look forward to visiting it when I'm next in Sydney. More pics of their shop on their blog.
