Despite the winter chill, it's a beautiful sunny day so I took a stroll in search of inspiration! Down at Greville St Bookstore I found this gorgeous card form Chronicle Books (below) which is a bird illustration printed onto an excerpt of a book published by Chronicle. I also stopped by Mag Nation and picked up a copy of Issue 3 of Peppermint Magazine (above) which has a very cute article about the Australian DIY phenomenon and how the craft blogging community has helped to facilitate the new craze. (Love the article's handmade title graphics!) Peppermint Mag is about eco-friendly fashion- lots of craft/handmade goodness in this issue. Definitely worth a look.

As a typography obsessive, this little piece of home decorating genius from Bookhou is very much my type of wallhanging. (excuse the bad pun). For little kids and big kids (such as myself) alike :)

For Christmas last year, since I was completely in love with Robert Gordon's Coney Island series, I decided to use his large milkshake cups to package the Donna Hay
White Christmas chocolates I made for the family. However, the
packaging style is not strictly limited to Christmas and can be used
for gifts for any event.
I used cling wrap to cover the mouth of the cup, tied it up with a
beautiful aqua ribbon and topped it off with gorgeous red cherries from
Riot Art & Craft.

Some beautiful fashion numbers from Lorick NY's Fall 2009 collection. Great photography by Tom Hines.

This one is definitely on the wishlist! The Monsieur Bag from Chip Chop.

Wouldn't these bonbonera chocolates from xocoa make an elegant offering for guests when they drop by, be a great little gift, or be beautiful as part of a dessert buffet for your party?
