I'm in a spring mood, despite the mostly dreary and cold weather lingering down here in Melbourne. Last Sunday was a perfect day and we saw some real traces of sun, warmth and blue skies which reminded us that spring, thankfully, should not be too far away...

I'm so excited that warmer days are just around the corner. Designer Clare Press has created a gorgeous and girly collection for Summer 2010/11 for her label Mrs. Press. Very cute.
Illustrator and advertising student Annika Bäckström was sweet enough to share with me this cute and imaginative stop-motion movie she created with fellow classmates Oscar Söderberg and Michael Sipos.
Annika says, "We wanted to show how we come up with ideas, and how we can make the world a bit more colorful with these ideas. Our goal is to be able to make advertising that comes from the heart, just so we can make people a bit more happy."

I love the style of Sydney photographer Katie Quinn Davies. With each shot so beautifully composed, Katie's food photography leaves me feeling inspired... and hungry! There are even more appetising pics (and recipes) on her blog.

Spotted this whimsical red apple ring box in the The Cherry Blossom Girl's wedding (via 100 Layer Cake) and I fell in love.
