Free "Let's Picnic!" Invitations | July 25, 2011
I'd firstly like to apologise to fellow Aussies for my obvious neglect of their 'seasonal' interests in recent times. It is probably clear, upon viewing my last couple of projects, that I am a touch pre-occupied indulging in fantasies of the summertime. Please forgive me, I find that this helps me get through the cold winter months!
So, for those currently blessed with beautiful weather and thinking of enjoying a lovely picnic or two, I'm hoping that these little invites I've designed will come in handy!
The PDF contains 2 pages which includes the tag invitation and gingham pocket design. It is 6mb in size so please be patient! If you have issues downloading try right-clicking ('Ctrl' and click for the mac) on the download button and saving directly to your computer.
For the tag- print out onto thick white card stock. I've picked up a smooth matte paper, compatible with my inkjet printer, from a local specialty paper store.
For the gingham pocket I've printed onto thick glossy photo paper. I've used HP's advanced glossy photo paper 250 gsm. (FYI, I have a Canon PIxma MG6150 inkjet printer).
I've used two round hole punches for this project. A small 5mm punch for the top of the tag and a 1 inch punch for the top of the pocket.
Fill in the blanks on the front and then write a more detailed and personal message on the back!
Happy Picnicking! :)

As a courtesy please do not link directly to a downloadable file but rather to this page. Thanks for reading this boring footer stuff! You rock! :)

And thank you for sharing these adorable tags! I'm trying to host a "Little Italy" dinner at my place this weekend and I'm on the search for some inspiring homemade tags as party favors to go with the mini jars of olive oil :)

thanks for the post!
Does anyone know what the font is that is used for the 'when', 'where, and 'rsvp' part?
I want to add a few more details on the back but need to match the font...
