I'm still here! | August 27, 2012

Ack! It's been quite awhile since my last post. What a slacker! In truth, I was a little under the weather last week, my sincerest apologies for the lack of updates. The good news is I'm currently working furiously on some freebies for you all! Hope to get them up this week! 

In other news, I've been looking for small ways to do up our kitchen. I decided to put part of my collection of bowls on display rather than hiding them away in a cupboard. Our kitchen is grey, grey, grey and needs some brightening up and a little bit of 'colourful clutter' makes it feel a lot more homey. Also, I'm a firm believer that if you're a collector, you should display your collections prominently in your home. Surround yourself with the things you love!

I also acquired these lovely amber jars from Market Lane Coffee in Prahran Market. All my kitchen needs now is some bright and colourful artwork for the walls above- I see a fun DIY project in my future :)

By the way, I'm always on the hunt for more bowls. If you see some pretty ones, let me know!

    Oh I love your bowls and how you are adding color to your kitchen with them. So easy, the trickest part of this must be finding those ADORABLE bowls! Please let me know where you find them, so I can stock up too. I have white on white one white, it's getting a bit boring :(

    Those bowls and jars look gorgeous. I struggle with the decision to put my colorful ceramic bowls for all to see or reducing the counter clutter and putting them away. After this post, I may take them out again :)

    Those bowls definitely need to be out and not hidden away in the cupboard. They have such a happy feel to them.

    I love those jars from Market Lane - I think I will have to go and seek some out for myself! Have you been into Mozi lately? They had some pretty and colourful bowls the last time I was in there.
