Time for a Change | October 07, 2012
When things take on a decidedly rut-like quality, It's time for a fresh new beginning!
That is why I will be taking the rest of the month off from updating Eat Drink Chic. My plan is to dedicate this time to a complete re-design of this site. I feel it's been a long time coming.
I would also like to tackle some larger projects which, in my efforts to update this site as frequently as possible, have been continuously pushed aside in favour of smaller, quicker ones. The time away will give me the opportunity to finally sink my teeth into these!
I look forward to returning to regular updates on November 1st and diving into this holiday season with (hopefully!) a brand new site and some great new content for you!
See you in November! xo

Good luck with the re-design - I'll look forward to it :)
I just wanted to give you some feedback that might be helpful - I always find EDC very slow to load - didn't know if that kind of optimization would be helpful in the redesign or if others find the same?
Enjoy getting stuck into it! xo
Rebecca- that's really odd about the load time. Thanks for letting me know. My husband actually worked on improving this quite recently and it's loading really fast for us and should be doing so for everybody according to his tests. Is anyone else having the same problem?
Looking forward to Nov 1st!

We love dogs and had a couple of questions about Sukie - has she gotten over her doorway phobia? Wondered if a small non-slip rug might help. Just a thought. Also, was her soccer ball purchased with the rope through it or did you do that? Wondering because we "altered" a soccer ball for our dogs by cutting holes on each side and running a thick rope through it - makes it easier for them to pick up and play tug. Didn't know they could be purchased already 'altered' :) Cool. Sukie is beautiful!
I can't believe I missed your post! I was looking at recent updates on your FB page and saw it'd been a 'while' since you'd posted something. Now I know why! I absolutely cannot wait for the new version of your site to be up.
:)
As you already know I find your creativity so inspiring.
More details on the awards can be found on my blog.
Just discovered your blog today and oh my gosh, how beautiful and inspirational, I love it! Looking forward to you coming back in November. It's going to be a long wait.
The graphic is very nice. Compliments
