I just love the mix of colour and pattern in these vintage kantha quilts made from vintage saris from Niki Jones. They look so beautiful as a collection.

    Gorgeous quilts. Especially the top blue one. Almost too pretty to use. Just hang them on a wall to look at all day!

    I've just come back from Bangladesh, where I saw these gorgeous quilts being made by local women, lovely soft cotton in these stunning washy shades and patterns... I couldn't believe how cheap they were, I bought five and paid under $50 for all five. If I could have bought back more I would!

    I can't believe the mark up on them here :O hope the makers were paid a fair price.......

    You can also buy beautiful, fair trade Kantha Vintage Sari quilts are your local Ten Thousand Villages store here in the US (they are not available online, sadly!). I own several all of which were very reasonably priced around $65.
